Does anyone feel my pain, I go to get a cornetto enigma last night and my freezer in the garage HAS BROKE!!!:eek::eek::eek: all my food has defrosted.....cant even use it as dont know when it happened...gutted

    cheap freezers anywhere guys?

House insurance often covers freezer contents -check your policy or give them a call. Hope your policy covers you. If it does once you've spoken to them check if you're ok to throw the food (well cook as much as you can) or if they need to send a loss adjuster to see it. Good luck

read your later post re could have broken a while ago so not a good idea to keep the food. Looks like a lot of us are thinking of insurance being a good option

I dunno if any of you have mentioned this yet but there is an article in the paper today where it basically says that Tesco challanged Asda's price promise saying it was a lot of rubbish but Asda was backed up and ruled in there favour - http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1376354/Tesco-loses-dispute-supermarket-price-war-adverts.html

Tesco would defo not look good withdrawing the DTD after this especially with Asda's ongoing.

Not being argumentative, honest :), but is it really that hard to track IP's? I know when I buy from certain companies online they tell me what my IP number is...

Surely with all T's billions they must be able to afford a programme that highlights how many times an IP is used?

Anyway, I don't know, but it's interesting all the same.

I'm sure you are right -it could be done fairly easily. However, the problem is that Tesco have advised people to use internet cafes , libraries etc if they don't have internet access at home. So there will inevitably be multiples from the same IP address. Also, work computers will have multiples. I'm not sure how Tesco would get round that issue - they have already backed down over this scheme and a lot more backtracking will just make them look even dafter.

No Clubcard, remember - cash is king.

I only used my clubcard for the first shop and done 3 or 4 now - maybe I'll transfer it to another email address now!

Thanks buy Ive been away for a week so if was then wont it be bad to cook it and refreeze?

will try that one, lets hope someone lists a grabbit for one, not that I check the rest of this board as much anymore lol

oh em no i wouldn't risk it, unless everything was still really cold because it hasn't been opened for a week, but tbh it's not worth getting food posining for a few £

I do see your point - but Tesco's are so poorly organised. Anyway, lets not give them any ideas! ;)
