Hi all
and thank you for the hard work, long may this continue:beer:
UHT Milk is now £4 at ASDA same as tescos.
I am off to go spend my first voucher:T0 -

I mean you get a voucher from yesterdays shop, then you use that voucher today to buy another shop, then with the voucher you get from today's shop you use for tomorrow - so you keep getting new vouchers everyday and keep using them the next
Yes, but remember you can only claim £100 per household (or per email address!)
*eta* Also a few people have had problems if you try and buy the same items again. For example dont buy a leg of lamb, then use the voucher with that receipt attached, to get another leg of lamb - get something else.0 -

Just seems a bit funny having a receipt which the total paid will be pennies or less, and handing it in with a coupon for £20 :rotfl:
I am sure that you will quickly get used to it!and your bank balance will certainly look much healthier too. I only buy things that I will use or like. I have also given quite a lot of food to friends - spread the Tesco's love....:rotfl:
Not sure how we will cope when DTD ends though
One thing is for sure, Asda is much cheaper than Tesco's :TNow debt free and working towards saving my 1st £1000!0 -
I'm very late jumping on this bandwagon but we are poor at the moment and every little helps!
I have my shopping list on my phone and I am off shopping later today.
Thanks for the spreadsheetSlimming World - 3 stone 8 1/2lbs in 7 months and now at target :j0 -

Thats a ridiculous argument, Tesco accept COOP £5 off vouchers that have no financial value to Tesco.
If I offer Tesco an empty crisp packet as payment for my shopping they are entitled to accept or decline it, my offering the empty crisp packet is not fraud.
Tesco reserve the right to change their terms and conditions at any time, they are entitled to change their T&C and accept a voucher for a second time if they choose to do so.
I can see nothing positive about banging on for yet another day over what is acceptable and what is fraudulent use! However, my argument is NOT ridiculous and your comment about co-op vouchers and crisp packets is hardly logical. We are well aware that Tesco are happy to take co-op and other conditional spend vouchers - they are not worthless to tesco, they are valuable incentives used to get you into the store spending money. With a crisp packet you are simply giving Tesco the choice of taking it or refusing it - you are NOT trying to convince Tesco that the crisp packet has a value.
When tendering a 'dead'/already used/therefore valueless DTD voucher you know perfectly well that it is 'dead' and are deviously trrying to convince Tesco that it still has a value. That is deliberately trying to mislead and COULD be judged as an attempt at fraud.
I am not going to waste my time any further on this issue. I have said several times that I draw the line in a different place to those who do many mutiple shops but I wouldn't dream of being as rude about it as some people are. In any event, ANYONE who is using this forum - and more particularly the Spread Sheet - to compile targetted shopping lists or even just rushing out for a bottle of Bacardi in the full knowledge that they will get a substantial DTD voucher back is manipulating the terms of the offer. Thats probably all of us - so its hipocritical to keep slagging off those who are being rather more devious (or clever;)) than others.ELITE 5:2

I had a bit of an experience at mr t on sunday. wasnt my local but a great big store. we were having day out so went in and spent two vouchers no probs. Went in with 3rd voucher was after some picnic food (non dtd) went to a young lad not a trout. however he didnt no what to do so called over a women who told me I could only spend voucher in store that the voucher had originated from. Anyway as I needed the stuff and stood my ground and asked her where in t & c it stated this. as i was unwilling to accept this she went off to cs for 15 mins came back and started telling me numbers were wrong on reciept and i must have made mistake when entering them. i told her i had not and it was head offices mistake and to call them if she wished. anyway she reluctantly accepted the voucher and poor young lad must have appologised a dozen times bless him. This was my 1st problem with a voucher most transations are fine. xCherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.
No matter how you feel, get up, dress up & never give up.0 -
