To tell you all the truth. I think Asda are slacking a bit. The small number of deals they have had are being quite quickly caught up by Tesco, and its actually looking like Tesco have a larger selection of better "Rollback type" deals than Asda has to be honest.

I thought Asda would start a big campaign over the weekend with loads and loads of cheap stuff, but its not happened and Tesco has managed to catch up with any deals Asda had.

So, Mr A listen up, its about time you started reducing some serious prices.

    I second that!

Mr A is seriously letting the side down - Get rolling those prices back :j:j

    tesco £1.70 asda £1.00

I've had a big trolley loaded at MySuperMarket.Com for ages now and little miss T has always been far more expensive than Uncle A. All this little miss T price promise stuff is like they have a profits death wish, it a sort of mealy mouthed lame PR joke (since they had to cap it and introduce further T&Cs), is anyone taking bets on when they're going to dumb it down further or come up with some pseudo-scientific excuse as to why the few are spoiling it for their "core hard working family shoppers" so, on behalf of the latter, they are calling the whole thing off.

Thanks for the shiny new thread stebiz, and to everyone for their amazing work on the spreadsheet... the power of mse is a wonderful thing :)

I did tell myself that i needed to at least wash up before I got sucked into the computer, but it's too late for that now! My house is a disater, my kids are being neglected and I'm distracted at work sneaking quick peeks at the thread and I'm writing shopping lists in my sleep!

asda have reduced their treasure eggs to £1 each!!!

they are all £2 each in tesco BUT the mini egg and caramel ones are 2 for £3 in tesco so be careful. Buy unlimited dairy milk, but only one of either mini egg or caramel

Thanks for this, glad I forgot to buy them last night :)

Both shops were on the 9th April but for some reason the first leg of lambs weight has been converted to LBS even though the receipt says KGs - (it is 2.274KGS) and then times by the weight per LB - £4.09. The product packaging is identical apart from the weight, ie NZ. Very strange.

Exact same thing happened with me with respect to the lamb.

CS were indifferent on the issue.

2 different stores, same lamb, one matches ,one does not.
Mine was 20.80 N/A the other 16.50 had DTD
