  • ok so quick qu...

If i get a voucher tomorrow for say 18.00 then i go shopping and have DTD items alone costing 19.00 but have a dtd value of 21.00 does this mean i can use the first voucher on second shop and just pay £1? and get a £20 voucher for the next shop??

Or do you have to spend the voucher on non DTD items?

Or it there a way to make this less obvious? How have you all been doing it?

    TIA

Yes. If your voucher is for £18 and your shop comes to £19 you just pay £1. Then your next voucher would be for £20 (not £21 as its been capped). Then you can spend it on what you like! If you choose more dtd items then you would get another voucher:)
  • Night all, must save some energy for dtd shopping tomorrow!
  • Thanks munchkinz,

Another MSE'er has confirmed suspicions on the old thread - hope for you it isn't proved right but I have a strong feeling it is as I was caught out end of last month and had to start over this month for 3 of us which was £60 extra outlay but the positives have outweighed the negatives so mustn't grumble too much. At least if we can get to the bottom of it, some people will escape Mr T's potential pitfall!

I will let you know tomorrow if your theory is right.

I have an email which I am waiting for 2 vouchers which should bring my total to £91.24 including going over £20 but the first shop was with a voucher for £18.35.

If you are right I should get the over your limit email.

I'll let you know as soon as I can.

    Night all

Long time reader and thought it was about time i joined, mostly to say a really big thankyou to everybody on these Tesco threads for all the fantastic help that you have shared.

I started of with an initial spend of £72 about 3 weeks ago, that jumped to £85+ in vouchers then to around £100. I've had lots more than 5 X my original outlay so far. :j

The last couple of weeks i've been doing 3 shops a day (£20 each time) and have donated everything to our local childrens hospice, womens refuge, local church and every elderly person i know.
I even give boxes of chocolates etc to elderly strangers in the street.
Their smile is worth more than the chocolates. :T

You all know you have helped each other on here but thought i would let you know about the so many many people you have helped without you even knowing about it. :T

Again a very sincere thankyou to each and every one of you.
Remember You're a Womble !! Keep Tesco Tidy.
