I have to say we approached Tesco a few weeks ago as we were doing a bake sale for Japan, and they gave us £40 of gift card to use towards the ingredients, which I felt was generous of them.

You did well then because we got nothing! Id have been over the moon with that - well done, another very worthy cause in line of today's news that it is the worst radiation incident ever.

It's not up to you to moralise about other peoples shopping habits.
As others have said, if you yourself are doing 'selective shops' you are abusing the system as well. It is well known that a 'normal' weekly shop doesn't generate a voucher very often, so if you are receiving the £20 you must be playing the system like the rest of us.

This 'criminal' behaviour that you are whinging about has allowed a lot of us to share the bounty. It has enabled those who have very little and live on the cheapest of fare to actually get some goodies and decent joints of meat etc for a change.
You can't blame people for making hay while the sun shines.
So you may think what you like, but you will make no difference in people's behaviour by your comments. All you will do is put peoples backs up.

    Here here! :p

I went to Tesco earlier and had the lenor spring awakening 3ltr on my list. The s/s says £5, but the SEL said £6.15. I checked on Asda's site whilst I was there and there is no lenor 3ltr coming up so I left it. BUT the Comfort 3ltr was £5 - is it the Comfort and not lenor does anyone know?

I totally agree - there was a lady on here earlier who was a single Mum of 5 special needs boys and she said she was so happy to be able to give them little luxuries like Kinder Eggs that she couldn't normally - bless her - Im pleased for her and Im pleased for everyone else benefitting too - its nice for consumers to be on the receiving end for a change.

wow - kinda been glad I've been out all day and the dust is settling a bit!!!! Sounds like a fair bit has been going off eh! Personally think posting batches of what's been received in batches more than 1 would alert anyone at Mr T's to look at the posters previous posts and try and work out where they were, so in the case of Henlans I would be looking at the CCTV from CS desk on the day they had a run in at using the date from the post on the Tesco thread (was it Fareham branch) and they regularly visit Havant branch as now they have announced doing 15 shops in a day, so it doesn't take a mastermind (believe me I'm not). Personally I think keeping under the radar is better than giving someone the rope to hang you with!

    i agree

haven't we provided them very kindly with a map with stores locations and our mse names so they know where to look for us???:eek:

(i haven't looked at it myself and can't remember where link is-sorry if thats incorrect)

1 X TESCO FRESH LAMBWHOLE LEG (6.702KG)
    T £20.06 A £33.51

This was the NZ Lamb - oh well, you win some you loose some :(

I paid £20.06 for it and it weighed 2.234Kg

Sorry your lamb didn't work, that's really unfair.

Any chance of the first 6 digits of the barcode - just wondered if we can work out why most are working but a few are coming up with the wrong weight

    The barcode is 0 240861 020063

Just had a look in my freezer and have found that the barcode for the £22.14 NZ lamb that I bought on Sunday, which did return a nice big DTD, was slightly different: 0 240863 022140

I bought another NZ lamb this morning, again a slightly different barcode: 0 240868 018285. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that tomorrow's email gives me some good news.

Wombled receipt -- Tesco cheaper except for these, neither of which are on the spreadsheet. Small DTD but every little helps!

    2 x HOVIS WHOLEMEAL MEDIUM800G £ 2.00 * £ 1.80

No you can redeem it in any store.

Although iirc Express dont issue a DTD.

I say Tesco found it EASY to make promises it still cannot keep.
