Can i be sacked for not answering boss's/work calls outside of work hours??!

    I agree with the consensus of opinion - ie if you arent at their beck and call and responding every time they want you to jump with "yessa - boss sa. How high do you want me to jump?" then they will just stop calling you.

    Would I be right in thinking that maybe your query could be more fully phrased as "Will the DWP think I've resigned of my own free will/set myself up to be sacked/etc and refuse to pay benefit money if this firm finishes using my services?".

    If this is the case - then what you actually would need advice on is whether there are likely to be any problems if you have to start claiming benefits and how to deal with them if so...

    You DO need to look for another job. You're just being used by this lot..
