Hi, Still sorting out the evaluation of our job, but while browsing earlier at vacancies, I have noticed that the starting point of Band 2, as of April 2011 (in Scotland) has significantly increased from £13'653 to £14'258.

Now, as of May 10th I will go on to the second increment, which as far as I know will be £14,003. £255 lower than the new starting point...
Does anybody know if this is right? Seems unfair. Or will I join the second increment point of the new ladder?

If a starting point for Band 2 has increased so did all other points within the pay scale.

Not sure if there in a difference between Scotland and the rest of UK ?

The new, A4C Pay Bands can always be found on RCN website:

Well usually they are the same but for some reason the band 2 jobs all over scotland at the moment start higher.
I've seen that pay scale and assumed that was for the uk. Don't know why they are starting higher
