It is a "real" job! When we started work, we had to sign a No Disclosure Agreement so we are not permitted to discuss anything.

No, it is not just for translators. If you follow the link given above and then go through to the "work at home opportunities". The "Internet Assessor" role is the one that most of us do on here. The job description on the site gives a reasonable amount of information about the job (as mentioned above, when we take the role we have to sign a non-disclosure agreement which prevents us giving any more detailed information. However it is a "real" job, pay is well above minimum wage, and you are asked to do a minimum 10 hrs and maximum 20 hours a week at your convenience. Contract is for up to 11 months).
If you are interested just click on the "United Kingdom" tab underneath the job description and it takes you to an application form.
THANK YOU TO ALL WHO TAKE TIME TO POST COMPETITIONS

Can you do around your current 9-5 job?0

Thankyou for the link Pinkdebster, I have just filled in an application. Sounds like it would be ideal for some extra cash to fit around my fulltime studies and 2 children!:heartpulsSpoiling my two baby girls with love - it's free and it's fun!:heartpuls
I'm not very good at succinct. Why say something in 10 words when 100 will do?

Yes you can, although there is a lot of reading up to do when you start so you might find it a bit draining. Make sure to keep a good work/ life balance, and don't try to do extra Lionbridge hours when you are not up to it. If your work doesn't remain to standard, they will drop you from the program. The only thing we know for sure, is that we know nothing0 -
When I click on United Kingdom (English) it opens a new window saying it cannot connect - anyone else having problems?0

Can anyone please tell me how payment is made by Lionbridge, and do I have to have a self-employed certificate?
Many thanks in advance!0 -
