Multiple employers and first time buyer

I bank with Barclays and my wages are paid into that account. I got a mortgage with Woolwich and they looked at my account could see that money was going in every 4weeks and that was it for checking. They did not mind that it varied considerably every 4weeks, or that it was paid in euros by a foreign company, which had changed names on the account info 4 times in 2 years.

Maybe its worth seeing if the bank you bank with has any reasonable deals and can be helpful with accepting your proof of income?
