Hi, I've never bought nor sold anything through eBay, don't really know much about it!:o Had a big clear out today and there are loads of things I could sell, some good some not so good lol. Don't really fancy going down the car boot sale route.
I was just wondering if anyone could give me some help and tips on selling on eBay, like were do I start! Do I need to open a paypal account, how do you know how much to charge for postage, do you ask for a set amount of money for your item, how much to eBay charge you for selling items etc.....
Thanks, feel a tad silly everyone uses eBay except me!:rotfl:

Go down to the ebay board a bit further down the forums list, loads of tips on there. I've been listing on there for a few months now, money comes in handy. Good luck

No problem. There is also a great thread (I think in this section), title is 'things you thought wouldnt sell' or something along those lines. Its basically a post that proves one mans junk is another mans treasure. People have sold old tax discs & lots of other random items.
Have fun

The best way to find out what to ask for your [STRIKE]rubbish[/STRIKE] unwanted goodsis to check out what others are selling similar items at.
You will need to open a Paypal account but it's quite a simple process. Everyone has to offer Paypal as an option now, but it's easier anyway IMO so the money comes into your account and you're not having to mess about paying cheques into the bank and then waiting for them to cash.
Go to the eBay homepage and look in the section for sellers, you'll find out all you need to know on there.
Go for it, it's amazing what sells (and surprising what doesn't).
Good luckI let my mind wander and it never came back!0 -
