Applying for new job - Collywobbles

Does anyone else get anxious when applying for new jobs? I sent off an online application last week and the job closes tomorrow. I've done my research so I know I can do the job, get there on public transport but my nerves are pinging away - had 2 IBS attacks this week already -ick!
It's a different job as well - no teaching involved - more mentoring and co-ordinating with teachers, admin and outside agencies, which is similar to my tutorial role, but full time and more money for less hours. At the minute I am pro-rata-ed for term time only which means I get paid about £800 a month. This new job will give me an extra £300 which can go a looooooong way. Lol.
Trying desperately not to get my hopes up, but I fulfill ALL desirable and essentials requirements. Last time this happened the prospective employer told me I basically came second - Aaargh! That's actually worse than just being told you weren't successful as it makes you think; 'What if I'd said or done ......?'
And it's one of those adverts where they say;'If you haven't heard within 28 days you should assume you weren't successful'. So you have to wait a month!!!!
Aaaargh !!
