A while ago, I moved out from my parents, not exactly on the best of terms so I hadn't received a lot of my old mail.
Today, I got a letter from Link Financial about an application for credit.
Only thing is, I haven't tried to make an application for any sort of credit for years, is this some sort of scam?

They're phising. Link are well know to use this tactic so people call them in a panic.0

What's the best thing to do? Just ignore the letter?0

They are debt collectors trying to con you into ringing them.
As said, just a fishing letter, so ignore it.
If they have anything genuine to discuss with you, then they will put it in writing giving full details.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Link are a bunch of numpties. I told them to write to me outlining why they thought I owed the money they were saying I owed, they said they can't get my address because it costs them money... "so how do you know I'm the correct person"...no answer to that.
They then called me at all hours saying the same thing. In the end Sky changed my telephone number and I haven't heard from them since...so they can't be all that confident I was the right person.0
