Council Tax Review

Hi all
I sent a council tax proposal to valuation office saying i thought our council tax banding was wrong.
Have received letter saying the proposal is invalid because have been in property longer than 6 months 15years in fact. But also have had letter and form to fill out to say they are going to reveiw it.
Is it worth appealling against the invaidly of the proposal or wait for the outcome of the reveiw?

Absolutely no point in appealing invalidity, it will simply delay the VOA reviewing your band. Your proposal was submitted well out of time and is clearly invalid. If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
