Oxfam Work Placement?!

I have to do a work placement at oxfam next week and was wondering if anyone knows what i'll actually be doing? I'm really nervous!

You will be sorting clothes out from bin liners, assisting on tills if your competent, and going home early every day as oxfam has far too many new deal placement people on their shops to ever run short of help.

I volunteered for Oxfam all the way through University, and never once got sent home early!

I loved working there, I was responsible for the fiction in one of their bookshops. I'm now working in Heritage Management.

Is the placement in retail, head ofiice or is it fundraising. Enjoy, I had lots of fun and got a great career out of it.

Please do not be scared, try and enjoy it. You might like it more than you think. I know lots of people that have had to do this. Some of them reluctantly for one reason or another and when they have completed they have totally surprised me and said they really enjoyed it. You might even find some real moneysaving bargains along the way. Best wishes and good luck x
