hiya all, i need some help. I am thinking of setting up a mobile beauty business.
I am going to college in september to study it. But i no how to do spray tans, nails, and ear lashes. I also have the equitment and do do spray tans on my friends. they give me the money back for the tan.
One of them said why dont you do it mobile. and charge more for the tan. this got me thinking..
I am a single mam, and hav had to stop working as i didnt have time for my children with the place i worked at.
If i do set up my own business, i can choose when i go to people around my children.
I have enrolled in college today. As my youngest will start full time school in sept.(wish i had done this years ago)
I just dont want to lose money by trying to better myself.
Questions i have:
tax credits will i get working tax creds?
housing benefit/council tax ben, i get full at the mo what will happen if i am self employed and dont make any money 1 week will have to be up at the counil every week with bank statments?
Is it easy to be self empoled eg paper work?
And what can i claim back with being self employed?
