    Morning All

Thanks for the sleepover vibes - she's still there - although I didn't sleep well because I didn't want to not hear my phone. St George's Day parade this afternoon so that'll be my afternoon gone.

    AnW's mum - have a wonderful time.

    Have a good day all

appropriate vibes coming your way! not certain where you're staying - did you mention the north east? Well in these parts the weather is lovely!:D:D

I could have throttled the staff at Waterstones yesterday - we went for a Jodi Picoult book signing - DD1 REALLY wanted to go!

Because we would have to take the wheelchair and because Waterstones is on many levels I had been in twice to enquire how it would work - and had been ASSURED by the events manager that the event would be in 1 apart of it and that the queue would be on the same level.

When we arrived the queue was out of the door - and not on the same level as the signing and the Waterstones staff were very unhelpful. Luckily DD2 had been bribed (promise of a strawberry frappucino from Starbucks) to come too. I had to leave DD1 in the wheelchair on the level where the signing was taking place and go and queue.

I didn't want preferential treatment - I just wanted to be able to queue with my daughter. I spent a good hour waiting in the queue tthen DD2 came out and dragged me in - Jodi's people had spotted DD1 and asked if she was in the queue - they decided she could go through first and i have to say they were brilliant. DD1 now has a book made out to her..... has talked to Jodi and when she tweeted that she had really enjoyed the signing Jodi replied to her tweet!

I feel a letter of complaint coming on because Waterstones were dreadful!

Anyway off to put some washing on and watch the London Marathon!

Morning ladies - have been floating about doing bits and pieces this week but not necessarily off the list :o. Still have foreign student staying so was out all day with her and Dd yesterday and will poss be today as well. Am trying to find stuff to redec Dd's room this week but not successful so far :(.

AnW'smum - Hope the weather is calm and that the awning goes up well, I'm sure it will as you and Miss A make a brilliant team with Master W supervising ;). You going somewhere nice?

Well the sun is shining here, DH has just gone off to work for a 10-10 shift which is not great, one of the girls has just got up so I better go shower then plan the day.

Am about all week now as on hols with the redec in mind so will hopefully be about more with you lovelies.

    Morning all

CY - I'm glad it turned out well and DD1 enjoyed herself. She really has come far.

    AnW's - have a great time!

Fedup - I admire you for making this choice and doing the sensible thing. Not sure I would have done. :o At least you have two bank holidays next week to catch up on stuff if you take the weekend off.

Was up late with DH last night and had a lie-in. On the second cuppa now, and baking some frozen pastries (croissants etc) in the halogen oven for a Sunday breakfast. Will need to make a start after that, as it's another lovely day out there.

Plan for the weekend (not necessarily in that order):
    laundry
    DW
    wake DH
    get DS1 up
make DS1 tidy space at bottom of loft stairs
2 HHCs each in bedroom done 1, bathroom done 1, DS2's room done 1, back yard/garden
    school stuff
    HW with DS2
phone hotel re DH's reunion weekend - need to phone back on Monday
car stuff (please fling fluffy mule if this is still on the list by teatime) - can't do anything until friend is back on Wednesday
    bake a cake or two
    lunch
    tea
sort through DS2's clothes to see what he still needs
find out when friend's son is going back to turkey so I can bake twinks for him to take

Have a lovely Sunday, everyone. x

Morning all, poor Rhys has a thoat infection again... I'll see how he gets on today and if he's no better it's the gp tomorrow. Kids all at sunday school and then another day spent decluttering. :D

AnW'smum hope the weather stays calm and you all have a lovely time.
Sometimes it seems that the going is just too rough.
And things go wrong no matter what I do.
Now and then it seems that life is just too much.
But you've got the love I need to see me through.

Hope Rhys is better soon Vanilla

Easy putting up vibes for AnWsmum...hope you get some nice weather

Not been posting a lot as I have been sorting out some hotspots...2 cleared in LR...top of both CODs....my family think any flat surface is a dumping ground....OH is the worst.

Also tidied and part cleared one in the DR...cant clear completely as it is all OHs CDs....there are £1000s of pounds worth as he is a Rock DJ too..all in certain order and more than my lifes worth to tidy them up...they are mostly in his cases but some still need filing.....As I decluttered him to Spain last Thursday that will have to wait till he gets back at the end of the week.

Boys will be polishing and hoovering their room today...its always tidy so wont take long

I have 2 lots of darks on line and mine and LOs beds are stripped and in WM.

Need to bake today so will redo my kitchen then ...its lovely and tidy at the moment so loathe to mess it up but REALLY need to bake.

Wont be around tomorrow as have to take DS2 for an egg challenge at the hospital....that reminds me I need to pre-book a taxi for 8.30am in the morning.....off to find some phone numbers

Love to all especially Toots Lady-Liberty and Lame Wolf

Glad you had a nice birthday Lady-Liberty xxxx
