Recipe for Dandelion Wine any one?

Hiya, got loads of dandelions at the bottom of my garden - in full bloom!! Just thought some of you might have a recipe to make wine out of them - before I rip their heads off.
I've got all the brewing equipment - haven't used it for years - but realise I will have to buy steriliser and yeast. But what else?
Any advice appreciated. xx

Haven't got a recipe, sorry, but my Dad used to make it when I was a kid and we had to pick the dandelions and the one thing I always remember is having to shake them vigerously to get any creepy crawleys out because once we didn't and the kitchen was overun with them much to Mum's annoyance.

Sorry, not very helpful but your post bought back so many memories for me.

Does anyone think it's worth doing? I tried once and was unimpressed with the results. I didn't think it was worth the effort when compared to other home-made wine.

I did it for a few years, agreed compared to say elderberry or elderflower it is not in same league, but it only takes from now until Christmas to be drinkable unlike many HM wines
