    They didn't on OH, because they'd already done it for the probate matters.

    They did for me - although the partner there is my godfather, who has known me my entire life, and my parents for a decade longer than that. But I still had to prove I'm not a drug-dealer laundering money (-:

    Not my issue if they didn't. There's an old Inland Revenue saying "Ignorance is no Excuse".

    Sadly for the file if the SRA or insurers conduct an inspection.

    Clearly they considered that they had satisfied themselves of the client's indentity.....
