Hi, i was just wondering whats the average pay per leaflet, for leaflet deliveries. About 2 small businesses where i live want leaflets to be delivered, but i'm not sure whats a fair price to ask them for (per leaflet).
Thanks!
Thanks!

How long do you think it'll take you? Work out how many you can post per hour, divide the number they want dropping by that and multiply it by £8.30 for the total or to work out per leaflet, divide £8.30 by the number you can do per hour - both to give the equivalent of NMW with holiday pay and employers NI contributions on top.
I take it you're registered self employed and will be declaring this?0 -
If it helps, I pay a firm £80 to deliver 6500 leaflets.0

Hi, thank you both for your replies and help. My only issue is i dont know the area they want to have it delivered within, I think it was just terraced houses in which case more can be delivered; i'd say roughly 500 in 2 hours whereas detached with long drives just 150 in 2 hours etc.
does it still have to be declared despite just being a one off with small earning potential (<100)
£80 for 6500 leaflets = 1p?/ per leaflet. I was expecting about 4-5p, but i probably reduce it to 3p. Still doesnt feel much though. I think i get my brother to do it :PSavings Target: 100K by 2015

And you believe that all of them get delivered? You are having a laugh.
I used to manage a small team of field staff delivering door to door. 3 men would average 1500-2000 leaflets in a day, 500-650 each.
Surreybear, I think you need to find out how many of your leaflets are ending up in the bin!

Yes I've had this concern too but the spot checks (by me) have been very positive. That said, they aren't just delivering my leaflet (if they were it would be more expensive) - they deliver up to four leaflets per household. My partner lives on one of the delivery routes, top floor in a gated apartment block but even he receives them! I also suspect because I get these delivered every month that helps!0 -
I hope you will make sure 'no junk mail' signs are respected. Nobody actually wants leaflets through the letterbox.0

We regularaly employ people to deliver leaflets. The going rate for solus is about £30 per thousand.0
