This looks like a good price as these are normally v. expensive. Are they any good for calorie-saving ? It seems expensive for just making chips.0

Wow, that is a really good price! We paid £179 for ours. In my opinion, apart from the oven, it's the best cooking appliance I have ever had. We use ours 3 times a week at least.......okay I do really love my chips!! I normally use one tablespoon of olive oil to cook enough chips for me and the hubby, so I really do think it's good for calorie saving!!
I'm not a sales person for tefal, lol, I just love chips

That is the best price i've seen. I got mine 2 wks ago from cook and home for £129 inc. delivery, and I thought that was good. Well done on finding a great deal.0

we got 1 of these ages ago, it is ok, the mrs wanted one of these to cut down on the fat intake i was getting as i love chips, and she did not like cooking in a deep fat fryer, in a round about way it has worked, as i hardly ever have chips now, as they come out of this thing too dry for my liking:mad:Take every day as it comes!!0

I've had one for several years and it's excellent - does much more than make chips. If you are roasting veg then it also saves money as it's a smaller area than an oven. Does sauages perfectly as well. We use it almost every day.0

I have one of these...nearly tempted to buy this bigger version, but I'll behave.

Just came on to say, don't forget topcashback @ about 7%. Also, if you are wanting anything else from Ideal World (I was after a plant) it's free P&P on all items this weekend.:)
Edited to add, the Hot Air Frying book they are including with it or selling separately for £9.99 is also available on Amazon for £6.40 if anyone who already has an actifry is interested. It may be cheaper elsewhere, I haven't checked.0 -
