New Job Problem

I had to give up my normal profession in September due to a health problem and I will be unable to do that work again.
I need to find a new profession.
In the middle of this I acquired two defaults - November - because I am living on IB and IS.
Am doing a 100% Full & Final IVA to clear my debts.
I have no CCJ's and no problem with credit history until this month.
I found the perfect role for me as Trainee Mortgage Advisor.
On the disclosure notice, before I go for interview, it asks about any CCJ's, Defaults, Bankruptcies, etc.
As a mortgage advisor I need to be approved by the FSA.
Will my defaults and my IVA prevent that approval?
If I will not be approved by the FSA I am not going to interview, which is 360 miles round trip for me plus a night in a hotel, which I have to do twice.
Any advice would be appreciated.

It is probably worth asking the company in question (or phoning the FSA but more likely the first).
With ourselves, we would almost certainly be unable to offer you any job if you now have black marks on your credit history as whilst a paper stacker may not be FSA authorised role our company, like many banks, have the same criteria for all employees. All posts made are simply my own opinions and are neither professional advice nor the opinions of my employers

Well, I am delighted to report that neither are a problem!
The FSA have no problem with me.
The Company say that it isn't a problem either.
So, am booked for my interview on Tuesday!0
