Hello, I made my own with help from a software package available online for free. Its called something like sans serif (I will go look for it and post the link in a mo).
I chose the picture I wanted, added my text then bought some ribbon, punched a butterfly out of the cards (front and back) and tied the ribbon in to a bow to close it.
It was a little fiddly, but looked lovely.
I then printed insert sheets, with details of venue etc, and did each one with a guests name printed on it, so each was personalised.
Easier than it sounds lol. And very MSE
as it only cost me for card, ink, ribbon and paper. I bought the card and paper at paper mill, £5.99 for a box, ribbon at local craft shop cost about £5.
Here is the Link : http://www.serif.com/FreeDownloads/
I used pageplus, but they seem to have a new creative package, which looks better. hthCross Stitch Cafe Member No: 86 :j0 -
Ah thank you very much! Sounds like you've done a great job there.
I think we are going to see if we can get them made for us but thanks for the idea, will keep it in my folder!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/14

It was a few years ago (nearly 4!) but they went down well
.
It started off my love of crafting, and I started making cards as a result lol. Unfortunately I don't do wedding invites yet on my website, don't have the energy.
Good luck, hope you get the perfect ones

I'm not sure yet. I've looked at Vista print but can't find any I really like:( As we are having a destination wedding I want something really different, like passport one or boarding cards:rotfl:I've ordered a few samples but can't find any under £2 each:o We wil only be sending them out to the people who we know are definatly coming so it might not be too expensive but we will have to see as it's not very MSEMarried the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.

I'm probably going to use vistaprint but will change things a lot as I'm not that keen on some of their stuff. Somebody on here said they actually used a thank you card for their invites. I'm planning to upload a pic of our venue (or a lion or elephant!) and totally change the wording layout0

we ended up making ours, i did a lot of searching online for designs that i liked but didn't find anything that really shouted "pick me"
i'd happened to come across a great site that created "wordles" and loved the idea of them but the site didn't put one together exactly the way i wanted it so i created one myself...
here's the sample i'd created0 -
I am using Make My Day UK for mine, i've had cards off them in the past and they've always been gorgeous. She's also been great with me bringing the wedding forward by about 13 months! Think happy & you'll be happy
