I've noticed quite a few of these virus reports, but I haven't received one myself.

Just so you know where I'm coming from, I'm an IT professional of 20 years experience. Recently I've seen a lot of spoof viruses - those that look like a real virus but are designed to trick you into downloading the real virus. I've been spending a lot of time removing them and reporting some of the code itself to the virus companies.

I've checked out this page myself and it appears to be fine (at least none of the code generated is dangerous).

What's probably happened is that one of the ads they're running has had problems in the past few weeks with the script injecting attack that has been affecting many websites over the last couple of months. In a lot of cases, as ad agencies are used (the website simply uses generic code from for instance, Google or Tradedoubler), they're not even aware of it. As the various virus checkers try to get to grips with this new way of infecting PCs, it's likely many false positives will happen - warnings of potential infection when it's just a scripting error for instance.

You'll see this mainly on a lot of forums, as this is where flash adverts via ad agencies are more common.

I'm hoping this is the same issue, in which case as long as you don't believe the pop up that appears (looks just like the Windows XP My Computer screen with some extras - virus warnings) you'll be fine.

Hope I've explained this well enough - I'd be happy to elaborate if anyone needs to know any more.
