    when were you made bankrupt?

A tax return will be issued for the year you were made bankrupt, this will establish the debt of income tax which is advised to the OR to include in the overall debt.

If you were self employed and did not advise HMRC that it has stopped then you will need to complete the return and inform them of the date that you stopped being self employed.
