I Got a Job!!

Hi all,

I was lucky enough to be offered a job today, it is weekend work as I am a stay at home mum.

My question is that at what stage will I get a contract as I actually have another job interview on Monday. Are contracts signed when you start the job/training? or after a probation period ?

I know this sounds bad but i am trying to 'hedge my bets' with this other interview next week.

CONGRATULATIONS! Thats fab. Well most jobs ive had have sent them out asap. Some jobs ive started before id signed other after. Have they given you a start date? No harm in going if it doesnt put you out. You can always turn the job down if your offered it saying youve already accepted another

Remembering back to when I was an employee, the offer letter constituted the contract and I had to sign and return one copy of it and keep the other.

Congrats on getting a job though and good luck for your other interviews.
