Argh! just realised .... O/H picked up 2 for me and he never got the free toy
If I ring them, will they still honour it
after I find the receipt:o I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -
Should do as they're 'sposed to mark your receipt to say you've had it.0

I got 2 today and the woman on the till said:
"Oh it's coming up saying I should give you 3 plush toys"
She called the manageress who said "Oh no this isn't right, you shouldn't get any"
They do seem a bit reluctant to honour this though as my OH had the web page printed off showing the offer and was pretty much made to feel like she was trying to pull a fast one.
It's not like they're giving away free holidays to DisneyLand, it's a $%£% soft toy.
Would be great if the offlnie company occcasionally spoke to the online one so they knew what each other were doing...0 -
I called the store O/H got the items from .... I kid you not ...... 4 HOURS!!!!! That is how long I was trying to get through to them for:eek:
Anyway, the manager said that we should have got the teddy, but it has to be added manually seeing as the story teller is 'so heavily reduced'
She apologised etc etc. She told me to pop instore and ask for her personally and she will see to it that I get the teddy .... and she did, and she did make a BIG EFFORT too :T I can say whatever I like here ... 'cos no one can see me .. ner ner ner ner ner !!!....How do you know I ain't sitting here butt naked?!?!I thunk I've made you think for a minute!:j :rotfl: :j0 -
Hi,
this is my first post so hello to all the mse members.
I stumbled upon this item while picking up another order and was surprised it was still in stock, anyway I ordered two and said to the polite but rather dim customer service girl that I should get a free 10" toy. Anyway, she looked for about 5 minutes and said 'I can't see it sir', she then interupted herself and said; 'ahh I see I have to add 4 (four) to the order as you get 2 free with every pooh teller', so she added four (She seemed to have selected a very old offer). The best part was they only had 2 Poohs in stock so I got a Eeyore and Tiger as well. All for £12 something as I used my free £5 voucher that I got from the half price navman I had just picked up.
At times I hate Argos, but damn you get some good deals.
