    Thanks, I've just read this on Halifax's own website.
    But how do I dispute the original £10 fee for deed store?
    And if I offer to go in and collect them rather than have them sent (which was why my Dad didn't ask for them last year because he was afraid they may get lost in the post as the deeds to his mother's grave did) then will they waive the fee?

    Just checked and it was £20 I paid which was the fee for the discharge of my deeds with the Land Registry. My deeds were posted out to me be Recorded Delivery. I'm in Scotland if that makes any difference.
