Pricing error - Tesco - Butchers choice sausages

Spotted in my local store, offer one : 12 x Butchers Choice sausages = £2, offer two : 8 x Butchers Choice sausages = £1.97, buy 2 for £3

- Pricing Error = labels for offer 2 actually reads "Butchers Choice Sausages 8/12's "

so 2 x 12's scans through as £4, then take them to CS, for double the difference.

Now pulled from my local store, but shelf labels may still be on a shelf near you

I noticed this last night. They definately did say 8/12 so obviously I bought 2 packs of 12!

Went to CS who went to check and said I hadn't been overcharged and that £4 was correct. :mad:

Didn't get any DTD although I did ask! Maybe I should be stronger and stand my ground!!

butchers choice 10 pack of sausages was 37p in my tesco last week....

I managed to do this deal this morning. Label did indeed say 8/12's. Staff were a bit difficult, and tried to suggest that I had picked up the wrong sausages. Only after 20 minutes and them failing to locate any other 12 packs did they agree to "do it this one time as a gesture of good will".
