Tesco policy on refunds ?

Does anyone know what Tesco's policy is on giving refunds on clothing without a receipt?

Tesco policy is that as long as the item is in saleable condition (for clothes the tags must still be attached) you can exchange for items of an equal value without needing the receipt.0

You can't exchange books, except for the same copy if the one you bought was damaged. Same with CD's.Gone ... or have I?0

Ive had a refund on books - with a tesco sticker on - I did have the receipt.
Also had refund on cds, dvds and games which have been unopened. the ones in the cellophane wrapper. also had a receipt.
usual story with Tesco - it varies from store to store. If your store wont refund try another one.Thanks to everyone who posts comps :T0 -
generally speaking you will not get a refund without a receipt.
You can usually get an exchange provided the product you return is in good condition (for clothes - not worn)0
