Boots Triple PoInts offer - NOT valid on phone top-ups

I thought that it would be an excellent chance to triple my points and went in this weekend to top-up my phone. I only got 100 lousy points for £25 of top-up and when I took this up witha Supervisor was told that it didn't apply to Phone top-Ups.
I thought it did. And I know Martin did because he was telling everyone about in on Radio 2.
Anyone else had this unfortunate experience?

I topped up £10 and bought £16 of perfume and got the triple points. I'm sure multiple points offers have always worked with top ups in the past.2015 comp wins - £370.25

HI - yes I did too and I'm sure it's worked. I hope my local Boots weren't monkeying around! Would love to hear if anyone else had this problem OR indeed got triple points on a top-up0
