Panasonic SD256 breadmaker £55.99 delivered

I know Panasonic are bringing out new models this month, but this is a great buy here. Thanks to gari189 at HUKD
If you want rave reviews, visit the "Old style" board. I have the older version and it's been great. It doesn't have a raisin/nut dispenser, but you can still add the "extras" either at beginning or during cooking time.
You might also be able to apply for a free book from Panasonic, while stocks last here
You can also get 2% off via topcashback

How does this compare to Zojirushi?

I'd never heard of Zojirishi, so I don't know. The reviews on Amazon, where it's still £89.99 are excellent, and on the Gadget show recently the SD257 with nut dispenser came top of their test here
I've never had one with a nut dispenser, so I can't say if it's worh paying extra for one. If you want a breadmaker that makes excellent bread, this is perfect, and with white bread flour at 50p a bag , which makes 3 loaves, and free yeast from Asda , it's saves a fortune.

I have this bread maker, I use it daily have for a couple of years, it's the best machine I've ever had. I honestly can't recomend it enough, I put it on timer at bed time and we wake up to the smell of gorgeous baked bread. It also makes awesome Pizza dough. :)

I have this too, and bought it after reading all the fantastic reviews. It is perfect and makes the most amazing bread. I paid so much more than this for it before Christmas. I held off buying a breadmaker for years thinking I wouldn't get much use out of it and it would take up a lot of room gathering dust, but I use it daily.
Has anyone used this company before? I want a food processor and thought I might order from them.

I ordered one yesterday, and it's just come via Citylink. They're part off the coop group, so should be reliable.

Mine arrived yesterday too, my first loaf was really good too! Tried the rapid setting this morning and currently have a spicy raisin loaf cooking away!

  • I've been looking for a Panasonic for ages. Thanks so much. I bought a cheapie from Argos to see if I would use it, and use it every day. I thought the one I had was good until I tried the bread from my friend's Panasonic :):):)

Just thought I'd mention, it's included in MrT's double points offer. It's £99-ish, so if you have a good few quids' worth of points may be a good way to spend them.
Trying to decide, as I have £38, giving £76 off the price. I have an MR which cost £10 from a charity stall, it works fine but I know the Panasonic is better
