Matt,
Thank you i should do that really to be honest as i am going to go to the court at the end of the month. I am nervous about it all to be honest. i get worried that the judge will not let me go bankrupt!
i owe 22k and just got a job that pays 10K plus a bit of commission.0 -
Batty Matt - go you!
Ugly - if you are insolvent, i.e. your debts are more than your assets and you're struggling to meet even minimum payments, and have taken advice (preferably from one of the free debt advice charities) then you shouldn't be refused by a judge.
The only time that's likely to happen is if they think you actually could pay off your debts within a reasonable length of time (which on 10K a year wouldn't be likely), if you hadn't taken advice or if they had genuine concerns about fraud. When I joined, I needed a name. The forum members gave one to me...I am INAN
