Grrrr @ the Woolwich!

Received our mortgage offer last Saturday :j but needed to ask them to amend it as we had asked for fees to be added to loan rather than paid upfront.
Solicitor then picked up on the fact that the property address was incorrect!!!!

Mortgage broker and myself desperately trid to get Woolwich to amend mortgage offer again but they dug their heels in and said it would be considered a "revised offer" which would take 3 - 5 working days to amend and the only way it can be speeded up is if the solicitor contacts them with date of completion illustrating urgency!  All this despite the fact that it was the Woolwich's mistake - they even admitted it said the correct address on the application!!!

Thank heavens our solicitor is a gem and found time today to talk to the Woolwich who have now promised the correct offer will be on her desk for Friday! :T

I've always loathed roller coasters! :p
