I looke din a few tile places recently, as have just finished tiling the bathroom and have to say homebase and b&q were by far the cheapest. I know I would have preferred to support a local company, but it is a big enough outlay. For about 2.5 metre squared, tiles cost £200. Homebase had a third off tiles (not sure if still on) and this also included little mosaic ones. I see B&Q have a 20% off this weekend, so may be worthwhile trying there.
So much chepaer than the likes of tile market and armatile. I was very happy with the tiles too!

I know its not a local company but I recently bought all the tiles for my bathrooms from Wickes. There are normally 15% off codes floating about for them as well.

There's a new tile shop opened about a year in Boucher Road (behind BMW showroom) which sells discounted ranges etc for really cheap.
I was able to tile my bathroom in beautiful cream tiles for £60 - the same ones were costing £200 in B&Q
It's worth a look as some of the ranges are from £2-£3 persquare metre.Just make sure you have the correct measurements as some are end of line stock0
