personnal allowance query

in Cutting tax
My main source of income up until a year or so ago was via self-employment. Then last year I added a small part-time PAYE job. My personnal allowance seems to be allocated to the self-employed part of the my work so while my income through PAYE is only around £7500 a year, I'm being fully taxed on it. Meanwhile, the self-employed work has dropped right away - I expect to earn less than £3000 this financial year. I'm still paying NI contribs for self-employment and not getting a lot of money in may already small pay packet. Any recommendations to get more money in my pocket please? Am I able to get my Personnal Allowance transferred to the PAYE job? And if so, how? Also, can I reduce the NI contribs paid for self-employment? And, again, does anyone know how I do this? Thanks so much for your help...

Think you can get a class 2 national insurance small earning exemption (the self employed stamp).
Do I have small earnings? You will be classed as having small earnings and may not have
to pay Class 2 contributions if your earnings, that is money leftafter expenses:• were less than £5,075 for the period from 6 April 2010 to5 April 2011 and/orfrom 6 April 2011 to 5 April 2012.
• are expected to be less than £5,315 in the tax year period
