LCS and advice needed please

MSE was the first result coming back when I searched for “LCS” on google, so think I shall post my queries here.

Summary of the story:
1) I paid the utility bill for my tenant after she left
2) My energy supplier somehow mistakenly issued a *duplicated* bill to my tenant and sent it to my current address (not the letting address), I simply ignored them and returned all the letters back to the sender.
3) The debt (that was not supported to exist) is getting bigger and bigger, and I start receiving letters from LCS.

Fact: I’ve paid every single penny for the meter readings in my property! What shall I do to stop being involved in such a horrible case please?

Basically this was what happened to me:
1) I let my flat to a girl who stayed there for 6 months without contacting any energy suppliers. (this is another story I can’t be bothered to talk about it here.)
2) After she left, I emailed ScottishGas(my previous supplier) and let them know the meter readings (from check-in date to check-out date) and whom they should bill to.
3) ScottishGas mistakenly sent a bill (which exactly covers the energy consumption of my tenant’s stay in the property, calculated by the meter readings I emailed them) to me, and without my permission, they took the money from my bank account, i.e.: I WAS a customer with them, when I left and closed my account they still kept my account information.)
4) I emailed them but no reply received at all. Can’t be bothered to spend time dealing with them, so thought fine, I shall pay the money and learnt a lesson from it (for letting a property to a horrible tenant).

Ok here comes to the ridiculous part:
After I had paid the bill, they kept sending the same bill to my current address (not my property’s address where my tenant stayed) and put my tenant’s name as the receiver. Apparently I cannot open these letters (because they are not named to me*), and I didn’t know what my tenant’s current address so I returned all the letters to the sender. After a while I started receiving letters from the court(from the envelope), under my tenant’s name again! So I can guess it’s something to do with the utility debt! Again I’ve returned all the letters to the sender.

Last weekend I went back to my property and found a letter from LCS, saying they are conducting utility investigation related to my property, I can 200% tell it’s about the *duplicated* bill issued by Scottish Gas.

Any advice is appreciated!

*ok I gotta be honest with you guys yes I opened one letter named to her so that’s why I know it’s the same (for the reading’s I’ve already paid) bill. But I have to keep it private when dealing with related parties.
