Reduced to clear batteries in Boots

All the AA and AAA Duracell batteries were put on clearance last night to £1.02 for a pack of 8. They are 3 for 2 also so 24 batteries for £2.04. tHE £1.02 Was on the SEL which had CLEARANCE written on it.

Which store was this in ? I made a special trip into Halifax for these and non on the shelves, staff looked at me as though I was barmy when I inquired about the deal !

Clearance items can be a bit hit and miss to find, not all stores reduce things at the same time, and while some items maybe on clearance in one store not necessarily in another. Shame you had a wasted trip, I have on occassion too and other times have picked up some real bargains.

I am finding that Boots bargains are a lot harder to come across lately and missing all my fellow Bootsers on here!

I know what you mean. I never even feel the urge to go into Boots now. Passing Boots now is like seeing an 'ex' you haven't seen for a while. You remember the good times, but then remember why you don't bother with them anymore lol.

OMG that made me LOL, but I am exactly the same now I used to visit possibly 5 or 6 different stores a week and not a day would go by when I didnt visit a store, but now I am lucky if I go in once a week:o

Exactly the same for me too, there used to always be some offer/glitch that would tempt me through the doors. The latest voucher is a non starter for me. I will probably go and have a peek for the batteries at some point but I'm not rushing this time. Mr B will have to wait for me while I spend time pampering with my Bodyshop stash from the weekend. Didn't even bother wandering around to Boots then.

Just to save anybody a trip, Branksome store Poole does not have any clearance batteries, half price Ruby & Millie or reduced price Soltan from what I could see. HTHs
