Tax owed - no P800 recieved

Hi

My second post of the evening, i recieved a tax notification today stating i owe £1,500 ish in tax, however this is the first i have heard of it, i have not recieved a P800 by post so have no idea what i'm supposed to owe or why.

Where do i stand? i'm going to call the tax office tomorrow to clarify but if it is wrong am i still able to contest it or is it now too late?

Thanks
