This is Ad's idea really. With house prices going nowhere in either direction, Ad thought it'd be a nice idea to discuss music instead. And he has a point - discussing house prices is dull, dull, dull, whereas music is a beautiful thing.
Erm, so, music then. Great, innit?

You don't have to be clever or witty on this one 1984, just tell us all what music you like to listen to.0 -

Currently running round the ipod in no particular order are the 2nd Dresden Dolls album, a set of exquisite songs by Lanterns on the Lake (just signed to Bella Union) from their handmade EPs, and Animals by Pink Floyd. And this evening's youtube in front of the telly menu included Transmission by Joy Division, an extended listen to Evidently Chickentown because of hearing it on the JD vid, and a little meander through glam, including Ballroom Blitz by the Sweet.0

Here's one that is on topic to the board '' We Wanna be Free''
It's only the second tune if his that I've ever really liked....probably the most commercial to date though.....but you know needs as must and all that what with house prices being the way they are.:)
Otherwise I'll give you ''Utopia'' ...love it to bits late at night.
My fave mainstream tunes at the moment are sung by Bruno Mars though.... love Grenade and Way you are plus Matts version of Biffy Clyro Many of Horror bit of a syruppy backing track for a song about partner abuse but hey, sounds nice all the same.
Loads more but by the time I have overwritten the links, the thread may be pulled.
Actually , now I am humming along to Wild is the wind by Bowie, another fave.0 -
Theres the what music are you listening to thread, but I wasn't listening to any until now. Like a bit of buckethead, although not heard this before:
