ISA mortgage

Wondered if anyone could help with what is probably a daft question. I have been off work for a while with cancer and even though we were discharged from bankruptcy last November we have an IPA which the OR has suspended while I am on half pay. The problem is we are still really struggling for money. We have an ISA mortgage and to get through the next few months I was thinking of redeeming mine and my husbands Isa's (both combined about £10,000). My worry is however that if we do that, will the OR take the money? If he does then we may as well struggle on and continue with the ISA to pay the mortgage. Please could someone advise.

Any money you receive will be of interest to the OR.

Have you looked at what benefits you may be entitled to? If you are both on a low income you may even get some help with your Council Tax...
