End of interest free on my finance agreement
Hi,
I wonder if anyone could help me on this. I purchased a swanky new plasma on finance several months ago. However the dreaded end of the interest free period is creeping up on me (22nd December)!
I was considering paying off the money owed on a new credit card which would give interest free on new purchases i think. Unfortunately the finance company dont take payments on credit card. Just the usual debit cards/ cheques etc.
My question is- can i get this chunk of money onto another interest free scheme?!
Cheers!
*Edit- amount owed is just under £2200 btw

You could get a 0% purchases card and put all new spending (inc. food, petrol) on that whilst using the money you aren't paying for those items to clear the loan as fast as possible.
If you buy something in a shop you can put it on a credit card. If you take out a 0% loan agreement in a shop then paying off the loan with a credit card, even if they would do it, would count as a cash advance anyway and that 0% purchase deal would not cover it.
