Hi, try onepoll, they do lots of short surveys a couple of minutes each for 10-20p ish. I also do valued opinions which are longer and more like 50p-£1, they pay in vouchers but you get a choice of quite a few different types, even if you cant use them they can be good as presents at xmas. I've also recently got an aa credit card which gives point sor everything you spend, so I try and put all shopping on it, I've just got a £20 love to shop voucher which I will use as a birthday present.
By the way other survey sites are toluna, new vista, sorry have forgotten the rest but take a look at the "up your income board".Good luck.MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0 -

Knew it was a great idea to post on here - thought I was at a dead end with it all and would have to wait until I went back to work for the extra cash. Thanks everyone that has replied with useful help so far.

Good morning everyone, very short post this morning as I'm trying to deal with the 3 kids and give mummy some time in bed !
Going forward I think its important to tackle my Very Cat debt and my Car Loan debt before throwing as much as possible at the mortgage....currently overpay just 61.16 on the mortgage (brings the term down by 1.4 years) ---- this morning I have frozen my pension of 131.10 per month (frozen for 4 months) - this will cover and take care of the Very Cat (and be pay off by August) ---- I have also learned that the missus gets a DOUBLE:beer: WAGE in May after going back to work after 3 months of having baby !:j
This of course will cover the remaining car finance with Conister !
Anyhoo - been to the local scrap yard and collected a load of books from the re-use site and listed them all on Greenmetropolis.com --- sold 2 today at £3 each --- postage cost for both 3.40 -- profit 2.60 --- (tesco) every little helps !
As far as setting goals and targets - I'm still thinking -- with only one wage its hard to know what CONSTANT payments other than the 61.16 I can make BUT with Sky minimized (saving of 40.00) and the car finance over in May (137.50 saved per month) - there should be more in the pot to throw at the weight round the neck known only as 'MORTGAGE' !Very Cat [STRIKE]900.00[/STRIKE] now [STRIKE]499.99[/STRIKE]495.00 :eek:owed before August

Hi! :j
You could always try Valued Opinions too.. Payout level is quite low (£10) and most polls are between 50p & £1, so it does not take you long..Let me know if you are interested and I can refer you

You could also have a look at the competitions thread - there are literally 1000's of them on there! Good luck
A positive attitude may not solve all your problems, but it will annoy enough people to make it worth the effort

What do you mean when you've taken a pension holiday? Do you mean you've stopped contributing for 4 months?
If so make sure you catch up asap!... pensions are like mortgages, but only in reverse, and over a longer period of time. So missing a few months payments in your 30s will dramatically reduce your income when you retire because of compound interest. The interest you save on the car loan will be MUCH less than the interest you will earn on that money over the next 30 years if you don't make the payments up.
I hope that makes sense!
Good luck with that mortgage. It's clear that living on the Isle of Man make it an even tougher challenge than it is for those of us on the mainland!Borrowed £150,000 in an offset tracker mortgage in May 2007 - MFD May 2041 (67)
