Apart from online conpanies, does anyone know where there is a complete range of seeds for sale in one garden centre? There used to be this complete 'A-Z' range in a garden centre in Kells (Ballymena), but they stopped doing them and then closed.
I have been to B&Q, Montrose and all the usual places in the town, but I am after globe artichoke seeds...any ideas?

To be honest if you're looking for something unusual like Globe Artichoke seeds I'd think you are much better buying online. Seeds have a limited shelf life so very few places are going to order in a batch of seeds that they may not sell. I buy the vast majority of my seeds online and usually pay less than the garden centres charge. The Organic Gardening Catalogue is my favourite supplier. Their seed is fresh, good quality, organic if you want it and delivery is fast and cheap.0

Thanks for all your suggestions.
I have bought a few gree artichoke plugs from the Ecos Market garden (ballymena garden centre) for 50p a pot.
There have been 4-5 plugs in each wee pot.
Seeds are expensive..but Poundstretchers seeds are " 2 for £1"..so I have bought some corn and plan to sow them and try my luck !!:beer:0 -
Is that on Kernohans Lane, Ballymena?0
