I think the reason you are having so much trouble finding it is because hardly any FF delivery drivers bother with it.
I mean, how is Insurance Co going to know they were working as a delivery driver? Are they going to turn up at any accident and check the wreckage for a pizza? Then prove it wasn't just a pizza you were picking up for your tea?
I am not advocating insurance fraud, just saying...0 -
I think people have mentioned before that usually they are covered by a company policy as it is next to impossible to get personal insurance for it.
Googling Domino's drivers I found the following job spec on job centre plus:
"
Description
Applicants must have a full UK driving licence, 3 points or less on licence (due to insurance policy) and own vehicle. Duties will be to deliver pizzas in the Colchester area. There is an immediate start available for this position. Additional payments of £1.00 per delivery and 20 pence per telephone call. . "0 -

Yeh can understand what your saying ,only problem would be police seeing you go in and out of the restaurant and asking to check details and it would take one person to phone up and say this person is driving without proper insurance etc
but can see as you say why drivers think why pay extra etc if nobody knows, but anything can happen accident etc without proper insurance then up trouble creek0 -

cant imagine a lot of takeaways paying extra on a company policy and that would mean a lot of drivers could be without proper insurance, there must be thousands of take away drivers and would have thought personal insurance would be in place somewhere very expensive probably to if there is0 -
A local takeaway delivery driver knocked a rouge teenager off a bike when he shot out into the road in front of him from a side road. The takeaway driver was found not guilty but was still done for not having the correct "pizza delivery" insurance as he only had personal cover.0

Hi,
I know that Atlantic & Pacific Insurance in manchester are one of the very very few who offer fast food delivery insurance. Give them a call on 0844 873 3921 or get a quote online at courierinsuranceuk.co.uk
Hope this helps a few people.
