Youobviously want to do something special for your OH but are petrified in case you get it wrong(?)
All you have to do is LISTEN, trust me, she's female so she will be dropping hints left, right & centre hoping you will pick up on them but men are often bad at this (in my experience - sorry guys!)
So go shopping on the pretense that need her help with buying stuff for your family & she will show you what she likes or then you can ask what do you think of this and that for whoever...

Pair of PJ's from Primark -Buy PJs without her choosing them, are you mad?
Scented candles - Got hundreds of them from Ikea outing
Box of choccies - £1.49 from Lidl's much cheaper than Guillian shells
Manicure kit - She has two of these
make-up brushes - Got enough to repaint the house with
A cute little teddy bear - have you seen our headboard!!
Some nice undies - make sure you get her size right first though, lol!! see comment about PJ's above
Spa bath lights - http://www.prezzybox.com/products/index.aspx?pid=3780 2 for £7! £70 for a bath full!!!
A nice necklace from Accesorize - I have only seen one man in accesorize but he looked fabulous in that pink cowboy hat darling

Thanks for all your advice and suggestions.
I am gonna be going to London with her on Saturday for the day and to see Basement Jaxx in the evening. Will see if she drops any hints when we are looking round the shops.
Gonna start picking up some bits and pieces next week (once work has calmed down a bit) so will keep this thread updated with what I get.

Why not do a basket with a nice pice of jewellery, maybe some flowers with perfume, and her favourite film on dvd??
http://www.mariahsoaps.co.uk has some different bath stuff you cant get in the shops as has http://www.soapbops.co.uk for jewellery try http://www.trinity-jewellery.co.uk just some thoughts for you, or what about a basket filled with flowers and a ticket to a few nights away and perfume??
