A belated congrats on the 3 years.
My 3 year was in February- got alot of help here but vanished for quite a while. Life has been on the up for us since the initial chaos after BR- we've had a new baby, DH got laid off but the lack of debt has meant he's been able to go back to university to retrain for teaching (he was in Engineering in the midlands- not a job in sight when he got laid off) and life is definitely on the up for us. No where near fancy (nor will it be for a while with student living!) but it sure as anything beats what it was like pre-BR when I didn't want to answer the phone and jumped everytime the door knocked. Our kids get to do normal things like have 2 pairs of shoes and attend afterschool clubs now, it was definitely the most positive step we've made and I'm truly greatful for all the fantastic help I got here leading up to my BR. Actually I don't think it was until 12 months after BR that we realised exactly how dark times had been pre-BR as we'd gotten so used to living so depressed and scared, robbing Peter to pay Paul constantly.:j BSC #101 :j0 -
