White vinegar - where sells it?

I bought some white vinegar cleaner recently and it's fab, but when it runs out I just want to use actual white vinegar and fill up the spray bottle.
Does anyone know where I can get a big bottle/container of it for a good price?
Thanks

Try any of you local ethnic grocers, they often sell it in huge 4-litre/6-pint plastic containers. I got mine from my local Thai grocers but I'm sure that any Asian ones will most probably have it.
For cleaning jobs around the house malt-vinegar (the brown stuff) will do perfectly well and places like Aldi and Lidl sell it for around 20-odd pence for a pint bottle0 -
Do you live in the country? Because many animal feeds/farm shops will have big containers as many people use it for their horses

I got the last lot that I bought from Approved Food http://www.approvedfood.co.uk/
They don't have any at the moment but worth keeping an eye out.
As previous poster has said, brown vinegar just as good and does not stain. Smells when you first use it but smell vanishes quickly, and in fact vinegar is a great deodoriser.0 -
Malt vinegar has other stuff in than acetic acid so will leave a residue. I've not tried it for surface cleaning but I did use it in my iron to descale it and the smell was dreadful and it took ages to go.0

The brown stuff is usually just coloured with caramel although I haven't used is to descale the iron before but I have used it in the past to descale my coffee-machine and kettle.0

Our greengrocer sells five litre containers of white vinegar - for pickling, I believe. I use it instead of conditioner on towels and for various other cleaning jobs. Fortunately we don't have much limescale here.0

I don't live in the country, but I do have a card for my local cash and carry - I've never seen any in there though...
I might try the asian shops and see if they have any, or failing that the greengrocers.
