Mortgages On Log Cabins

I cant find a lender that will lend on a residential lease hold log cabin the building is brand new, meets all current building regs, has an architect sign off cert and has a 999 year lease - The mainstream timber home lenders want 14% interest for a holiday home lease hold but still wont touch residential lease hold.....Any ideas??:(

Is the property a holiday home or a residential property? What are the terms of the lease regarding occupation?

There's a few small private label lenders and possibly a couple of small building societies (I did one of these a year back). Ask your broker for illustrations on these.
