Winterthur Unit Trust Endowment Policy

Is it possible to sell a Winterthur Unit Trust endowment policy, rather than surrender it? I've noticed most policy buyers are only interested in With Profits policies. We've had the policy for 7 and a half years and it still has another 18 and a half to run. Current surrender value is £14,884 as of this morning.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks! :confused:

    Sadly not. Endowment Traders are only interested in With-Profits policies.

    Nothing sad about it. Unit linked endowments offer greater potential nowadays and should outperform most with profits policies over the term.

    It is expected that most unit linked endowments of 25 years or more (and a target growth rate of 7% or less) will hit target. Still an unknown but the it is within their potential.

    Winterthur have quite a few good funds and it you utilise a decent spread of funds, you could do alright with it.
