  • Most surveys are usually for £2 for 10mins work. I think I joined in March and I got to £55 by Oct, cheque for £50 arrived early Jan. Also, if you complete a survey they may ask at the end if you would mind at a later date discussing your opinions on an online forum with about 7 other people. I had 2 such offers and took up 1 of them, had to talk about buying a PC, where I would go to buy it, what I thought of PC companies etc.I was paid £22 for this. They always say how long they think the discussions will last and they are timed so you are still paid for the mins it runs over.
They did send me an email before christmas to say they were slightly changing the name of the company or something and they were going to be monitoring how long it took people to do surveys so they would get quality answers not just people rushing through the surveys and they may refuse to pay people if they think you haven't answered the questions properly or couldn't have finished it adequately within the time you have done it.Hope this helps.

    Hi

I joined in October 2006 and I have 2 points. I can't remember if I have 2 points for joining or if I have done any surveys.

ive got 39 points....hopefully get that magic 50 soon. The only thing I dont like is sometimes you will spend a few minutes answering their questions only to be told that you dont fit their profile grrrr :(

Interesting - thank you for the info.

All I would say in response if they do change their policy is, that's OK if in return this company:

    a) Lowers the payment threshold - (like yougov) £50 is way too high unless you are invited to these online Forums mentioned - only a few can do those.

    b) it's a quid pro quo. If you spend time answering some of the questions they should give you at least something for your time spent (like GlobaltestMarket do) and currently wasted.

If you all agree, I suggest everyone hits them with those thoughts if this arises.

I received a cheque in October from when I first joined but can't remember how long that took to reach. Am up to £30 now as had a lot of surveys immediately after receiving £50 but none for the last few weeks.
I keep all e-mails where I have completed survey.
Did have a problem after £50 payment as my balance was showing a minus figure even though I had done a number of surveys. E-mailed a few times without receiving any reply, but this has now been adjusted.
On the whole, I think this is a good site but i all the MSErs join there will be very few surveys between us!!
